ICANN getting sued !!

ICANN is getting sued, so reports the register. You can see the actual complaint (pdf) here

"ICANN said the lawsuit was an attempt to detract attention from its upcoming meeting in Vancouver. It said: "ICANN is currently seeking public comments and comments from its various industry and stakeholders groups on a proposed Verisign and Icann settlement arrangement announced on 24 October 2005," said the statement".

I wish that Joi posts his thoughts on fiasco. It will be good.

Yahoo RSS beta

Yahoo luanches its RSS beta for mail  and Yahoo alerts. Not sure how all this works I still need to sign up for the beta!

Fun errors

Thats why I love to troll at times, one picks up the most wackiest of converstations. Here's one from Joi's blog:

R | mail !!

Playing around with R |Mail , that was built by Randy. This chicklet allows you to enter in a feed rss and  email address. It basically covnerts RSS feeds into email content and pipes that to your inbox.

Actually I find this a nefty little tool for myself. I use a blackberry 7250 , which does not have a RSS reader component for the device. So when on the road, I am blindsided - no feeds to read. So with Randy little Tool, I should be able to pipe rss content directly into my Inbox on Gmail, which in turn can be re-piped  anywhere else.   

I just activated only a couple of feeds. Randy RSS blog,  BlogCafe and Scoble's blogs. If this works out well then I'll begin activating mulitple feeds. !!

Evangelize Thyself !!

Over the last couple of months,  I have been really pre-occuiped and have not got enough of Jackie  Ben psoting. Actually I have beening taking thier feed for a long time, but I have not really particiapted in the conversation there. The last time was about a year ago when the WoM fade become making in roads.

Shel is running a series of Post's title "Questions to the World" . He hopes to post 100 Questions with the intentions of

Killing time, playing on Live.com. I am nothaving a good experinece. Take a look this when I try to obtain email. Why Does Microsoft have so much difficulty in making things work ??

Randy comes out with a neat idea.  He sez " Memeorandum has lost it's flavor" [..] and then he creates an "automated blog that uses link counts to determine what the most linked news article on the Web in the last 24 hour period. It then compiles a brief of the article and points to at most 24 other instances of the conversation. I call the blog Best of the Blogosphere "

Interesting , but how does the seed work ??   How do  you know  when there is new blog/URL that has heck lot of conversation ??
