Influencers and Changers !!

I subscribe to Charlene Li, James Governor  and Shel . Today Shel post , kinda went click click click in my mind. It is like a vault opening and suddenly one goes thru a qunatum jump as a thought tapersty.

"If you are a company and you see me as an influencer or analyst, do not try to control your relationship with me.  Do not sit in committee and decide how and when you will inform me of something. Just start a conversation.  Do it on a blog. Let me subscribe to your feed.  Let me decide what you have that I like or do not like. Let me decide when or if I'll use my influence or analytical abilities to discuss you"

Now, I have to degress to the other side of the specturm from influencers to changers and the matrix change theory.

"The difficulties many organizations have had with change management depends in large part on an inadequate recognition of interdependencies among technology, practice, and strategy. However beneficial a new machine, incentive system, product line, decision-making structure or reporting system may appear in isolation, the acid test is how it interacts - as it must - with numerous other aspects of the organization. Recognizing the critical role that interdependencies play in affecting outcomes leads to new analysis and theory"

For both these theories to fit together, then the "briefing of radicals" comes into a full state. Well, this is a lot to read to follow my thought process.

Lastly, Philip Stanhope once said "Many a man would rather you heard his story than granted his request" ; and this is how companies and bloggers become the greatest Influencers and Changers for the next radical wave which will hit the business landscape !!

Thus sayest me "Let my people Blog" !! :)-

RSS Board is maturing

The RSS squabbles seem to be dying down. Randy sez Jason joins the board.

This is excellent news - Now, I think  the RSS community have some real players into the landscape which can mold the RSS into a strong protocol for the futures.  Think of it like IPv4 and what it has done for us. Likewise if the  RSS board stick together, I think they can accomplish a lot. There are good folks trying to do their best.

Change in strategy

Theres a strategy change happening here.

Scobles sez here :

"I have been getting defensive. But, when you're attacked every day, all day, it gets a little hard to figure out what to do. And, I was burned out. It took taking a week off to really figure that out and make some changes. My health hasn't been really good either and I'm working on that too. You'll see my writing change and you'll also see that I don't engage as much in comments, which is where the defensiveness came anyway."

Also another good comment here

"if you are a balanced person who wants a conversation about technology and the industry, I doubt I'd delete you, even if you posted something anti-Microsoft.

But, if you're here JUST to bash me or Microsoft then maybe not. I don't let those kinds of people into my family room. They are welcome to post on their blog. "

With regard to true converstations, I am using cocomment for grazing. This is an ideal way to stand aside and still be able to immerse oneself into blogsphere within actually getting consumed by it.

Yes, Yes, being tired is painfull.Very Painfull.

Update : Heres another cutting edge statement (from another blogger) ;

"..maybe you could add an "edit tags" link that would bring us to an equivalent page to the one we're looking at -- and then monitor what people use to see which ones are worth keeping?"

Nice How-to document !!

Thats why I troll and take silent feeds. Heres a nice How-to entry from  ScaleFree .

Simple documentation on conversion from typepad to wordpress. Yes, I use typead and double yes, on why I am culling this entry here :)-

Blackberry Stupidness !!

I just had some problems with Blackberry 7250.  Its kept spitting out this warning message.

"You are almost out of quota and are no longer able to send messages from your handheld.  To avoid further sending errors, you must permanently delete messages from your mailbox"

So this is what I do -- clean up my handheld device and delete most of the emails until Robert Scobles responds to my previous message on KB articles. Anyhow, by this time, I am frastrated and all emails are deleted. Zippo- Nada, Zero on handhelod. So I  reply back to Robert on my handheld and I still get the irritating message.

Oh, this is bad news, so I have to search and search on the technical center of Blackberry, until I find these links ;

  • Auto-aging <== mine is set for 30 days
  • Reconciling Wireless Email <>== did this before I tried the next step
  • Using Reconcile Now <===tried this - no avail
  • Purging Deleted Items <== evnetually had to do this !!
  • I eventually purged deleted items. Why can't they just have a flag which gets passed onto the server side which then permentaly deletes the message !!

    USers now need to do two deletes, one on the handheld and the other on the server side. That sucks -sucks big time.

    Happy B'Day Nathan !!

    6 Truths about Love

    1. Human beings need love. Without it they die.
    2. Love means more than liking a lot.
    3. Love is about responding , about delicate, intuitive sensing
    4. Who and what we love
    5. Love takes time
    6. Love cannot command or demand.
