Shel and Rick are making a world tour !! I hold both these gentleman in the highest esteem and they make a good tag team.
Shel sez : "Rick is a Canadian venture capitalist who would like to show that Silicon Valley is not the center of the universe."
hehe.. I had a conversation on the same thought process on a posting by Shel, where I commented "Its only when people understand that technology as a bigger whole is no where related to the valley, thats when they wise up.."
I am sure that Rick and Shel, will be our "touch bearers" for the cause. It will be like a marathon race for them. Kudo for the guts they have to make this trip. A 23 day, one month on the road is difficult and will drain you solid. Rest is a weapon use it wisely !! :)-
oh heres my 2 cents for the cause - even if you don't speak a langauge or understand a culture, you will always hold yourself high with ALL, if you remember a simple principle ;
- a tear is a tear in any language
- a laugh is a laugh in any language
- a smile is a smile in any language
Go--be our "Good will Ambassdors" and make us proud. We are with you all the way in sprit and in mind.
