Introverts and networks

Sacha went thru this session at BCE-Toronto This was basically about introverts and networks -both offline and online. I think she had a couple of good points that I Scrapbloged here. Dscf0598 The theme was how to facilicate conversations and ensure that introverts particpate in events. Some of the clue points could be to act  like a host of the event  even if you are not the host. Another area would be to introduce people and read the body language. The circle of conversations always needs to be expanded.  One critical value proposition is that you have to accesible both offline and online, that  meeting them halfway.

I think that this session was pretty open and a couple of good thoughts were seeded. In general it was more about social networks.

One thing that strikes me , within the social networks , the depth of knowledge  is still wanting. Secondlife, WoW and other spaces seems to be cultivating human behaviour patterns, that social and pychological analyst's still find difficulty on defining. How does an introvert in real life, change the persona in virtual life ?  Does First life rules exist in second life space (virtual space) ?  Do we need to live by those rules or not ?

anyhooot, Ms.Geekette sez shes an introvert. - me sez no wayyyyyyyy !!  I think shes an extrovert, who lives and breaths on the web and loves to be there in teh space, kinda of thing. A lot of engery actually spins around Sacha !!
