Does anyone know what type of plant this is ?? Yesterday evening, a friend of mine gave me this plant.
I name it "precious" , but I don't know how to take care of it. Does it need a little water, or a lot of water ? how many times a week ??

Heres my cost recap of Bangalore and the city. I am rounding of the exchange rates to be about Rs40/- per Canadian dollar.
Accommodation is OK. I got myself a semi furnished 2 bedroom apartment for approx 15K INR for a month. Thats about CAD 500/-
Travel is cheap. Most of the time I spent an average of about 50-75 rupees to travel from here to there. This was using the 3 wheeler auto-rick's. However, the traffic and congestion is horrible. A white t-shirt looks gray by the time its afternoon !! A Chauffeured driven car costs Rs2500/- per day.

A bouquet of flowers costs about Rs.150/- and thats a nice bunch of flowers. The same flowers will cost be no less then $75/- in Canada. 
B/fast can be picked up from anything like 10-20 Rs. most of the time I was feasting on the dosa's, idlies and vadas. The filter coffee is great. A bottle of water (1lt) is only 12Rs.
Dry cleaning costs about Rs15/- per piece. This includes washing and hand-pressing changes. The time I did my own washing (yeah, one drys their cloths on a a cloths line), I got my pants and shirts ironed out by the local ironing man, just at the side of my apt. It costs like Rs5/- per shirt or pant. [ heres a pic of the guy at the corner of my road]
Cover fee for a club is approx Rs200/- (weekday). This comes with a free coupon for a beer too. Beers in the pub costs like rs90/- and a Bacardi costs about Rs360/- . All in all - a nite clubbing costs a little less then $35/- Oh yeah, the chics are hot- very hot :)-
Shoppin malls are very crowded. No elbow room to move around. Boutique shops are better to get some fun stuff.
An average meal for 4 people in a 3star resturant works out to about Rs 2000/- , or about Rs500/- per person. Fancier places can work out to about Rs2000/- per head too for the evening:)-
Most of the old building are knocked down and multistory apartments are all over the place. Heres a pic of an old buildings. This seems more like the old facade of banaglore that I remember.

Yes, it's time to say Adieu and may you all have pleasant memories of me. Our times together were good and at times we disagreed, but I leave you all with a fond memories. Each and every one of you from Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto . Windsor, London, Calgary, Edmonton, and across into Vancouver. Yeah, you former MWTS folks, I still love you all. :)-
Business decisions are, at times, cruel !! But- it has to be made by someone, somewhere. I don't hold anyone accountable or responsible for being "let go". All I know that over the last 5 years, we the team in Canada, built a healthy and conducive business. We learned, we grow and we WERE THE BEST !!. Yeah, we topped the world over, in terms of profit margins for Customs Brokerage Professional services. (Yes, our Executives can confirm that fact !!) Albeit, with the Merger and Acquisition being followed in by an F50 company, times become turbulent. The day I finished integration efforts and handover, I asked myself , "do I have a job ?" - I echo that question today , once over .
Having walked a path and having done the best I could, fate has brought me to the cross roads. It is time to say goodbye, to all my friends. I had a hecka ride with you for the last 5 years, and if fortune ever permits, I'll do it once over with you all. I won't hesitate for second !!!
You all are a good bunch of people, so don't let anyone or anything undermine your spirit's or your integrity, for this is your true worth.
I take with me, your true worth as fond memories !!
Update : Breaking News : My Boss (Kim C) joins me in saying Adieu to you all too !!!!!!! :)- One of the most brilliant minds and visionary leaders in the industry was let go a soon after I was walked out !!! Just shows, the caliber of the people who are "running the show" !!

Corsin Joined me for lunch at the 360 restaurant at the top of the CNtowers. So I quickly snapped a pic on the way out :)- This is how the ground like when you look down through the glass view point
Corsin is actually from the Alps and had something to do with Google and its services at the Zurich Lab's - 'nuff said. He now does some freelance works. He will be joining us for Mesh Conference 06 in Toronto.
BTW- Meshcon is SOLDOUT and NO I can't get you tickets :)-
Stuart --sez that approx 400 participants would be meshin for the event !! Kudos to the organizers for their tireless efforts. I certainly look forward to this conference.

Waaaaaaaaaa.. I needed to go for my Ear Syringing this evening. I had problems with wax build up and very close to the ear drim. Ok, I was stupid -about 2 months ago, i went for a swim and used que tips to try to clean up the water inside the ear. However, I actaully pushed down all the wax and compacted it deep deep down inside -close to the ear drum. 
Anyway. all the ear wax cleaning medication did not work. So I had to go for the Ear syrining procedure. Its a simple procedure, but hell I am chicken too !!
Well, I felt a little dizzy after the process. Kinda rush a feeling and then dizzy. Doc had to syringe me twice to get out the globs of wax which had accumulated. 2 globs were in the dish after the process. They were like to large ball bearing size !! How the heck does the ear have som much of space inside for so much of matter eh ??
over the last couple of weeks it was alway "huh - what did you say ?" syndrome. Having said all that, I can now hear properly :)- This is a relief, i wish the doc had done this earlier !!

Ok, as strange as this sounds this is the 3rd time it has happened at my cribbs !!
Friends (females) walk in, chit chat and eventually they tend to find themselves peeking into my fridge and then the conversation goes something like " Oh, you do groceies and cook too ?" - yeah-- its like a question mark at the end of the statement ?? , I maybe single and live alone, does not mean that I am a junk food addict and can't cook for myself.
Ok, to all yea woman out there-- what is interest with a guy's fridge and whats in there ? No serious question :)-
