This increases the competitive landscape. GTM gives customers access to customs documents and regulatory advisories for more than 200 countries, including 15 countries in Asia, allowing customers to look up import and export requirements for each country based on shipment and commodity information. Previously, only 42 countries were covered.
FedEx announced Friday it now has the rights to operate three additional weekly flights to China, bringing the total to 26. FedEx Express, the largest subsidiary of FedEx Corp. (NYSE: FDX - News), will operated these frequencies, which were awarded by the U.S. Department of Transportation. [via]
One, must also see what is happening here. China is also increasing become a major importer of goods from across the world (read as North America's) . This kinda falls into the scenarion where FEDEX will create feeder lanes and then do the milk runs and other short haul trips within the Okay side of business
