Single URL vector Attack ?

I am seeing a new hybrid type of comment's spam in the making here.   One of my posts is being targetted periodically every 3 hrs. Each post comes is originating from a different IP.

• IP Address: 69.31.46.204
• IP Address: 59.171.132.228
• IP Address: 221.148.132.245

Included here is a screen scape from my Admin toolbox.  I will delete the comments for the time being.  I will edit the target post and disable comments.

I am not sure, where the root of the bootnet, but I will like to see if someone , somehere will manually tweak the attack table to identify another open vector on my blog or is the botnet intelligent enough to figure that one out !!

Flushed down the 'unread' Drain !!

Yes, there are times where I go under information overload. This time, I am flushing my feeds and restarting the reader :(-

So, please dont get mad at me for not trolling your site and commenting. So thats approx 8K articles /posted that appear unread within a 3 month period for me. 

I'll be trimming my subscriptions too for Q4/06

TechCrush vs TechCrunch kerfuffle

TechCunch and TechCrush have sorted out their kerfuffle !!

I always thought that Mikey had a little bit more lot of brains, then just take the lawyers advise just like that, after all he is a lawyer too. Its good to see that they resolved this Amicably . But what I don't really understand is this comment

"TechCrush is confusingly similar to TechCrunch in both the name itself and the way you visually represent it, ..."

The name part is OK, thats pretty straight forward, but the visually represent part , I don't get it, I did a small UX test and found that anyone can easily distinguish that there are different sites.

Oh Mike, yeah I do appreciate you and your network., but at all times-- all I ask is that and your team be civil. Just because you have a freedom of speech, does not mean everything you say is intelligent. Mind you I have routed for you in the past and will will continue to do so, as long as the case is fair and just.

Native American Day - Sept 22nd

The Native Indian Day is coming up soon- Sept 22nd.  I have a close relationship with the Native Indians', I trace my maternal roots back 1728 - the Mayan Indian in Yucutan.

Before America was America, this land was comprised of various tribes and tongues that were (are still are) as diverse as our modern-day melting pot. September 22nd is recognized as Native American Day this year, and though Native Americans take pride in their heritage on any occasion, this day gives reason for celebration and education. Whether you're an American Indian or not, take some time to learn more of our history pre-Columbus and take part in Native American culture.

Scobles is not good at keeping his comments tidy !!

I know that Scobles has a lot of stuff and incoming comments and trackbacks. But I certainly think that a good person *blogger(?)* likes to keep their comments section clean and tidy. To me -- thats personal pride within my blog. That is, removing junk comments and doing some sort of house keeping.

I kinda picked this up in my feeds and rolled back to this post of Scobles and I dont belive the junk thats there !! Ok, now your turn-- You Go there and see for yourself  !!

I conducted  a Cocomments farming and Harvesting  experiment and then Scoble's must have disabled his account, so I really did not pay attention to his comments and junk collection :)-
