I am building an audit model using 6 Sigma Principles. Yes, this is crazy, I'm supposed to be a green belt , oh no.. actually a black belt !!
OK, the fancy gizmo numbers and stat's are not jiving. I gave up and will rework this set again. Building Audit Trails itself is hard work, working a new model with weighted averages is harder.
- 11 critical data elements.
- Thin Slicing of the date set is a min of 18 elements.
- Data Chunking give 58 elements per record.
- A wedge of data can work to 790 bytes (i.e Single Line invoice).
- Average Wedge per transaction is about 28 Lines per invoice.
- Y/Y averages: 7350 Transactions.
- Random chunky's are Targeted from a range of[ A,B,C] names can be pulled.
- Not more then 20 [names] of a set is produced at given time.
- Covers 5 Geospecifc areas.
Go figure (gigabyte info- Any readers can give me Slurp value of data per cull ??]
Precipitating all this into a model within an excel spreadsheet, is a nitemare. But, the Executive Sponsors can only want to review on a simple model. That is, a graph here and a stat there !!
yeah, min of 11 tabs in the Spreadsheet , plus cohesive summaries and factoring collision efforts.
My DMADVA model is good, but I still need to yield Fault tolerance within myself. More work is cut out tomorrow. :(-
Why did I ever Pass my Enforcement Exam ??
